Golfaholic Golf League (GGL)
at Greyhounds Entertainment , 6pm - 9pm every Wednesday


Conditions

  • Maximum of 8 teams each week comprising of 2 people per team for a total of 16 people per week.
  • 6pm start time for meals, drinks and 1 hour of practice warm up with a 100m closest to the pin tournament and longest drive competition.
  • 7pm start for Alternative Shot Match Play Tournament
  • Round 1 we play 3 holes, Team 1 verses Team 2, Team 3 verses Team 4, Team 5 verses Team 6 and Team 7 verses Team 8 in a knock out round in best of 3 holes (match play).
  • Rounds are played as alternative shot per player. Team number to be drawn out of a hat. Tied rounds to be decided by closest to the pin at 100m with each player having 1 swing (2 per team)
  • Round 2 the 4 x winning teams play off in a match in the semi finals. The winners from teams 1 - 4 play off and the winners from teams 5 - 8 play off. Another 3 holes, 2 teams per match
  • Round 3 the 2 x winning teams play off in a match in the weekly grand final. Another 3 holes, 2 teams in final match.
  • Entry fee per player per week is $20
  • The overall prize pool per week is $500 (minimum number of 4 teams required)
  • $100 for Closest to the Pin winner, $100 for Longest Drive winner and $300 for Match Play winning Team
  • If Ian Chapman (Greyhounds Entertainment), Tim Belfrage (Greyhounds Racing) or Andrew Del Biondo (Golfaholic Simulators) win they are ineligible to collect the prize money and the amount they would have won jack pots into the next week
  • The last Wednesday of each month there will be a monthly play off grand final of winners and runner ups from earlier weeks in the month
  • Greyhounds Entertainment will top up the monthly grand final prize pool to $1,000
  • Registrations are currently open for Week 2 of April 9/4/25, Week 3 of April 16/4/25 and Week 4 of April 23/4/24 (Week 5 of April 30/4/25 is the monthly Grand Final play off)
  • Registrations are currently open for Week 1 of May 7/5/25, Week 2 of May 14/5/25 and Week 3 of May 21/5/25 (Week 4 of May 28/5/25 is the monthly Grand Final play off)

Nominate a preferred time period on Wednesday you are available to attend to participate between 6pm – 9pm.
